Nate Yohannes is a Generative AI executive, White House presidential appointee, and AI investor with a proven record of building and backing industry-defining platforms — from Meta and Microsoft to the next generation of frontier AI startups. He currently serves as President of AI & Data Labs at Zeta Global (NYSE: ZETA), a leading Generative AI cloud for marketing.

At Meta, Nate led Product for GenAI Ads Ranking, driving the transformation of Meta’s core ads business with large language models (LLMs). He previously led AI Product for Creators at Instagram and helped scale LLMs across Facebook and Instagram Reels, supporting more than three billion daily users as Group Product Manager on the Modern Recommendation Systems team.

Before joining Meta, Nate served as Director of Product & Strategy to the CTO at Microsoft, where he led company-wide initiatives in AI, robotics, and autonomous systems. He also served as Director of Corporate Strategy & Business Development, focused on AI commercialization and cloud growth, and was a member of Microsoft’s AI Sensitive Use Case Task Force, shaping policy and governance for responsible AI.

Earlier in his career, Nate practiced as a securities regulatory attorney, serving as Associate General Counsel at the Money Management Institute, representing $14 trillion in assets under management during the Dodd-Frank regulatory overhaul. He was later appointed by the White House as Senior Advisor to the Chief Investment and Innovation Officer at the U.S. Small Business Administration, where he helped oversee a $36 billion private equity fund and a $4 billion innovation program. He was also named a White House Economic Leadership Fellow and served on the President’s Broadband Opportunity Council.

Nate was appointed by the Vice Chairman of Nasdaq as a Young Executive Advisor and is an active venture investor, backing pioneering companies such as SpaceX, xAI, Applied Intuition, Sana Labs (exited for $1.2B to Workday), Armada, Etched, among others.

He holds an M.S. in Technology & Leadership from Brown University, where he was a Dean’s Innovation Scholar, and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Fellow and Summer Honors Clerk for the New York State Supreme Court.
